Kurdel was founded by Kurt and Adele Hysen in the mid 1970's. 

Kurdels breeding program incorporates the breeding of  OFA certified parents who produce an eager, aesthetic, healthy and correctly structured dog.

Kurdel shows in both the AKC and CKC confirmation show rings and their dogs have been awarded both AKC and CKC championship honors.

Kurdel realizes that a buyer of a German Shepherd Dog places their trust in the breeder of their choice to provide them with a sound and healthy animal.  We also understand that purchasing a German Shepherd Dog is a long term commitment and know the majority of German Shepherd Dogs are placed in companion homes.
